How much does personal training cost in Richmond?

Our 1:1 personal training is $70 for a 30-minute session or $100 for 45 minutes. Semi-private PT (3+ people) is $40 per person. Small-group fitness classes start at $35 casual or $50/week on the Gold unlimited membership. Every new client gets a free consult first.

What's included in the group fitness classes?

Small-group training capped at 15 people per class, led by a qualified coach. Structured strength and conditioning blocks with clear progression. Unlimited memberships give you access to the full weekly timetable (6am–8pm weekdays).

Can I see a physio without being a PT client?

Absolutely. Our sports physio, clinical pilates and remedial massage are open to everyone — you don't need to train with us. HICAPS on-the-spot rebates are available for most health funds.

Is ShapeShift a gym I can just use on my own?

No — we're a coaching studio, not a gym. We don't sell casual memberships because our value is the programming and the coaching, not the equipment.

What if I'm a complete beginner?

Most of our clients started as "I haven't trained in years." The free consult is built for exactly that — no ego, no judgement, we'll build a 12-week plan that meets you where you are.

Is there parking at the Richmond studio?

Yes — we're at 9 Rooney Street, Richmond with street parking available, and we're a 6-minute walk from West Richmond station.

Are there any lock-in contracts?

No lock-ins on any option. We believe if the coaching is good, you'll stay — and most of our clients have been with us 12+ months for exactly that reason.
