Information we collect
Information you give us. When you complete an enquiry or contact form, book a consult, or sign up for a membership, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and any details you include in your message (such as your goals or training background).
Information collected automatically. When you use our website we may collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring source, and how you interact with the site. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies (see below).
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request;
- To set up and manage your membership;
- To send you information about our services, offers and events (where you would reasonably expect it, or where you have opted in) — you can opt out at any time;
- To measure and improve our website, marketing and advertising; and

Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, understand how it is used, and measure our marketing. These include:
- Google Analytics 4 — website analytics (Google LLC);
- Meta Pixel — advertising measurement and remarketing across Facebook and Instagram (Meta Platforms, Inc.);
- Microsoft Clarity — aggregated usage analytics, heatmaps and session insights (Microsoft Corporation).
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics via the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on and manage advertising preferences in your Meta ad settings.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate our business, including:
- Our customer relationship and enquiry management system (LeadRail, built on HighLevel);
- Our gym membership and booking platform (GymMaster);
- Our website host and analytics/advertising providers listed above (Netlify, Google, Meta, Microsoft); and
- Professional advisers or authorities where required or permitted by law.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers store or process data on servers located outside Australia (for example in the United States). Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.
Data security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure. We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.
Accessing and correcting your information
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop sending you marketing, by contacting us at hello@shapeshift.fitness. We will respond within a reasonable period.
Complaints
If you have a privacy concern or complaint, please contact us first at hello@shapeshift.fitness so we can address it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
